Shepard Medical Products’ molded anti-microbial glove helps reduce the frequency of food-borne illness due to contamination during processing. Bacteria and other germs can build up on the surface of a regular glove, increasing the chances of spreading through direct contact. The anti-microbial agent embedded in the glove slows the growth and spread of these organisms and provides an extra means of protection against contamination, the manufacturer says.
