Butter block pumping

Polar’s automated butter block pumping systems can receive standard 55-lb. blocks of frozen, cold or room temperature butter, shortening or margarine, and pump the product long distances to usage points. The product is extruded through holes in the die plate that offer greater surface area for faster and more complete mixing with little rise in temperature; capacities in excess of 250 lbs./min. can be achieved. The systems carry the 3A logo, and can be taken apart with an adjustable wrench.
