Modern Process Equipment’s IMD 99 Candy Gran-U-Lizer reduces candy to narrow particle size distributions with a minimum of unwanted dust. It uses “cracking” action to break candy into pieces without high speed impact or high shear, allowing users to achieve accurate sizing of heat sensitive or low melting point products with minimal heat generation, which eliminates the problems of smearing or coating cutting surfaces.
