Connectionless steamers

Groen Vortex connectionless electric steamers provide energy savings for small- and medium-sized operations with demands for bulk steaming applications. The steamers are available in three- and six-pan electric units and operate without a boiler, therefore eliminating the need to de-lime the unit. Since there's no water line, drain or hood required (in most states), units can be placed anywhere. A built-in smart sensor detects temperature changes within the cooking cavity and applies steam only as needed. Once steaming is complete, the unit automatically switches to the idle/hold mode. Food is safely held at 180ºF in high humidity.
