Ideal for food processing, the SPX features gentle peristaltic pumping action, with low shear, zero emulsification, and minimal frothing and aeration characteristics. Its design eliminates "dirt" pockets where residue accumulates and bacteria can multiply. In addition the pumped media never come in contact with any pump component other than the USDA-approved hose, preventing dilution or cross-contamination. Innovative hose technology enables the SPX to pump a variety of food products, from honey to caviar, dependably for a long period of time.
