Spirax Saraco’s Spira-Trol general service control valve is a two-port
valve engineered for refined performance in the food and beverage industry. It
uses a low number of components, creating a flexible and maintainable system
where one valve can satisfy the needs of numerous industrial requirements. Both
ANSI and EN versions share the same internals and three pneumatic actuators are
required for valves up to 4-in. in size. It incorporates self-aligning and
clamp-in-place internals for ease of maintenance. Its hard-trim materials and
modular design diffuse the discharge from the plug and seat, and reduce
internal flow velocities to minimize internal erosion.
