Aeroglide's AeroPulse pulsed fluid bed delivers pulses of air sequentially along the bed of product that can be adjusted in volume, velocity and frequency to fluidize products. The rapid heat transfer from the high-velocity pulsed airflow can be used for drying, cooling, toasting, puffing and roasting of particulate product. When compared to conventional conveyor driers and coolers, the unit can accomplish the same heating, drying and cooling result in one-third to one-half the time, says the company.
