Air Products and Chemicals Inc. is now offering a variety of services through its Food Laboratory to help customers evaluate freezing parameters--both for existing food products and products under development--and make informed freezing equipment investment decisions. Housed at the company's headquarters in Allentown, Pa., the state-of-the-art Food Laboratory offers a full complement of CRYO-QUICK liquid nitrogen freezing systems and sophisticated testing methods for a variety of foods, including meat, poultry, seafood, dairy products; baked foods, prepared foods; fruits and vegetables, and snack items. Because different foods react differently to freezing and chilling, the hands-on observation and analysis provided through the facility give a customer a clear picture of how a particular product will react under specific processing conditions.
