High-shear mixers

Silverson high-shear mixers hydrate and disperse gums and thickeners, disintegrating agglomerates and exposing an increased surface area of the powdered ingredients to the surrounding liquid. They eliminate the need to premix preparations of gums and thickeners by combining them with other dry ingredients or dispersing them in a non-aqueous phase to facilitate hydration.
