Kraft Foods Inc. is selling its yogurt business to CoolBrands International for $59 million.

Kraft Foods Inc. is selling its yogurt business to CoolBrands International for $59 million. Kraft estimates that the business, which includes licenses for the Breyers, Crème Savers and Light ‘n Lively brands generated approximately $90 million of net revenue in 2004.

Chuck Marble was appointed president/CEO of Triad Foods Group. Previously, he served as senior vice president for Triad Food Marketing, which merged into Triad Foods Group.

Terrance Marks was named president, North America Group for Coca-Cola Enterprises. Marks has worked for Coca-Cola since 1987, serving most recently as vice president and chief revenue officer of the North America Group.



Bumble Bee Seafoods acquired Castleberry/Snow's Brands for $93 million. Separately, Bumble Bee purchased a portion of Sara Lee's shelf-stable meats business, including the Sweet Sue and Bryan brands, for $45 million.

Parmalat Dairy & Bakery Inc. sold its Archway and Mother's brands and its US and Canadian private label cookie businesses to Catteron Partners and its operating partner Insight Holdings. The US bakery will become the Archway & Mother's Cookie Company and the Canadian bakery will be known as the A&M Cookie Company Canada.

Starbucks Coffee Co. promoted Dorothy Kim from senior vice president of global logistics and procurement to executive vice president of supply chain and coffee operations.



ANDRADE
Bruce Andrade was appointed vice president of operations with B&H Labeling Systems. Andrade comes from General Mills where he held various roles in plant operations, and engineering.

POWER Engineers acquired ATEC, a privately owned conveyor and equipment design and fabrication company. ATEC, now operating under the name POWER Food Equipment, is a wholly owned subsidiary of POWER.

AECOM's McClier Corp. and the Southwest and Midwest regional operations of The Austin Company have merged into a new company called Austin AECOM. The new company provides design and build services to the food and consumer products industries.
