Newly designed IF Series Ingredient Feeders from WCB Ice Cream provide controlled insertion of fruit, nuts, candies, purees, syrups and other ingredients in a wide range of shapes, sizes and forms into a continuous stream of base product such as ice cream, peanut butter, cake batter or pancake batter. Gentle handling permits the metered incorporation of additions such as strawberries, raisins or nuts. Controls are available in a manual, rate indication version. An automatic version features a load cell loss-in-weight feedback system assuring consistent feed rate of ingredients over a wide range of flow rates and hoper levels. A strobe light that indicates low hopper levels is another new design feature.
