Smiths Detection’s Eagle FA fat analysis X-ray system utilizes dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry technology, enabling real-time scanning of meat and poultry for foreign objects and meat composition. It inspects and processes up to 160 tons of meat products per hour, whether fresh or frozen, and includes a rejection device to ensure foreign objects are removed from production. Available in versions for bulk and boxed meat inspection, the system features a fully automated calibration routine in less than one minute.
