Metal detection systems

April 1, 2005
Mettler-Toledo Safeline's metal detection system meets the latest 3A Dairy Sanitary Standards, USDA requirements, the new baking industry-endorsed BISSC sanitary standard, as well as HACCP and FDA requirements. It also meets or exceeds NEMA 4X/IP69K washdown specifications. The units feature stainless steel construction and continuously welded sealed frames. The detector enclosure is built to withstand high-temperature, high-pressure washdown. As specified in the IP69K standard, the detectors are impervious to water intrusion, moisture and dust, says the company.
