Modular curbing

December 1, 2008

Designed for environments within food processing plants that are exposed to extensive abuse or that require strict hygiene, such as freezers and coolers, kill room floors, processing rooms and ready-to-eat areas, Kwasny/SaniCrete’s modular curbing system is constructed of the same high-density, energy-absorbing foam used in automotive bumpers, making it resistant to high impact and thermal shock. Depending on the plant environment, the curbing may be pre-finished in stainless steel or a polyaspartic coating, a chemical- and abrasion-resistant 80mil lining system reinforced with fiberglass fabric. Secured to the floor and wall with antimicrobial materials, the curbing virtually eliminates a bottom seal by keying into a concrete slab or flooring system.
