Plastic spiral belts

November 1, 2008

Ashworth’s Advantage plastic spiral belts have a lower air pressure drop that allows more air to pass through them, resulting in greater air contact with product being conveyed and lower dwell times. Incorporating stainless steel rods to provide the strength to increase the open area of the plastic mesh, the belts are USDA-accepted and NSF- and BISSC-certified for cleanability performance. They support heavy loads without sagging and are rated to withstand 300 lbs. of tension at 100,000 cycles. The belts are available in 1.5 turn radius and larger, and operate in environments from 50
