Marel's OptiCut portioning machine cuts boneless meat with optimal material utilization and ensures uniform portion size. The machine uses a cutting technique that produces natural looking steaks of uniform shape and weight. Controlled by the M3000 industrial controller, the unit is easy to use and offers flexibility in operation, says the company. OptiCut is available in combination with the Marel portion stacker for cutting, stacking and fixed-weight packing.
