Fristam's powder mixer for high-performance blending of dry and wet ingredients into a fluid stream incorporates a FZX liquid-ring pump and an FS shear blender into a system that pulls a consistent amount of vacuum and maintains performance as product viscosity increases. The mixer has standard 316L stainless steel components for contact surfaces and standard wetted surfaces 32 Ra with optional finishes available. Applications include crystallized sugar, premixes, pectin, stabilizers, milk mixes, egg powder, fluid flavorings and starches.
