Intended for handling all types of meat, fish and cheese in fresh, cooked, frozen and sliced forms, Applied Robotics’ meat gripper is manufactured from light, FDA- and USDA-approved materials and adheres to all production cleaning guidelines. Able to open and close rapidly and smoothly, it can be used on all currently available high-speed robots. The pneumatic, hygienic washdown-safe gripper features a pick-up head that enables portions or groups of portions of product to be loaded accurately and quickly into trays, thermoformers or other packaging conveyances. When used in a multiple head operation, each head can be programmed to produce a different size or type of pack format.
