Robotic palletizing

August 1, 2008

Intended for entry level palletizing or integrating into heavily automated lines including discharge systems and automatic guided vehicles, Schneider’s customized Robox plug-and-play robotic palletizer can palletize rigid cases, bags, cartons or trayed products, at up to 30 picks/min. or more and requires only air and electricity to operate. Palletizing from a single in-feed, the unit comes preprogrammed to palletize each SKU pallet configuration and automatically rotates between 2 stations to load pallets. A higher throughput can be achieved with an auto pallet dispenser and over/under conveyors that swap out a full pallet for an empty one. The palletizer offers a user-friendly set-up utilizing a FANUC robotic arm with optimized human machine interface. A standard Ethernet port allows remote monitoring and diagnosis.
