Sanitary elements

July 1, 2010

Used in milk and whey applications, Parker Ultrafiltration SD (10k) and SB (5k) sanitary elements yield higher flux and increased protein rejection, while eliminating blisters in severe dairy applications (80% and 90% whey protein isolates). Crease protection technology (CPT) reduces the potential for bacteria issues near the permeate water tube and avoids potential USDA violations. The new membrane materials are available in all standard configurations from 3.8 to 8 in. in diameter.
