Sealing compound

Available as Turcon Variseal (a spring-energized sealing element) or in other custom profiles, Trelleborg’s Turcon MF6 compound conforms to the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 51 – Food Equipment Materials. Based on ultra-clean technology and engineered for demanding processing environments, the compound is manufactured from high-purity PTFE grades and additives. Its smooth finish, with high gloss and low porosity, reduces the risk of contamination buildup and particle shedding. The compound offers operating temperatures from -328°F to 500°F, almost universal chemical compatibility, low long-term compression set characteristics and minimal creep and permeation. It is FDA-, USP Class VI- and 3-A-compliant.
