Shut-off valve

October 27, 2005
The low-level, shut-off valve from Alemite is a small device that will shut off pneumatic fluid handling pumps when the material in the bucket or other container reaches a pre-determined level. The valve is mounted to the drum cover inside a fluid container and connected to the flexible follower plate inside the container with a chain. When the plate reaches a given point, determined by the length of the chain, the valve is tripped and airflow to the pump is suspended, halting operations.
