Spraying Systems Co.'s SBH and SKH model spray-dry nozzles for medium- and low-flow spray applications are designed with an O-ring instead of a gasket, so the nozzles can be installed and securely sealed by hand for pressures as high as 7,000 psi without tools. The nozzles feature a maximum free passage core and cap to reduce clogging and minimize pressure drop. Suitable for spray drying of powders in the dairy and food processing industries, the nozzles fit all types of spray dryers, flow systems and open- and closed-cycle installations, says the company.
