The Jacob Tubing USDA valve is designed for low pressure/vacuum conveying, bulk material handling and airflow systems for the dairy and food industries where equipment must meet USDA-Dairy sanitary levels or the equivalent. The company says its valve received the USDA-Dairy acceptance certificate as well as BISSC certification. The unit features outboard bearing and thumb bolts for tool-free service. The shaft-flap assembly and bearings can be removed for sanitation, service and inspection.
