Valve automation

October 26, 2005
Dixon-Bradford provides in-house custom valve automation to meet the special sanitary requirements of food, dairy and beverage plants. The aluminum rack-and-pinion actuators provide a double-stroke adjustment of ±5 degrees. Available in one-quarter turn and 180 degrees, the actuators can be mounted on all Dixon-Bradford valves. Stainless steel actuators are also available for highly corrosive processing environments. Vertical stainless steel actuators are offered in double-acting and spring-return for use on all the company's butterfly valves and some ball valves. Electric actuators are mountable on all the company's valves.
