X-ray inspection system

April 1, 2009

Using low-energy X-ray technology, Safeline’s SmartChek X-ray inspection system for small packaged products detects and rejects contaminants such as metal, stone, glass and bone. Its auto set-up feature sets X-ray energy and all inspection parameters; the system requires no X-ray knowledge for operation. Modular in design with the heat-generating component separated from the rest of the electronics, the system provides detection for a variety of non-washdown applications such as powdered foods packaged in aluminum or baked goods in metalized film packaging.  Rated to NEMA 4, IP65, it has a 4-point, quick-remove X-Pod module for tool-free disassembly. The system has full traceability.
