The Spectroline BIB-150P ultraviolet lamp positively confirms the presence of trace amounts of rodent urine and droppings, oil, grease, dust and other impurities. The lamp makes rodent hair and excrement fluoresce brightly. Hair glows blue-white; urine glows yellow-white when dry, bluer when fresh. Other contamination, such as lubrication oils and greases, bleaches and sulfide waste matter fluoresce different colors under the lamp. Its rugged polymer housing is impact-resistant.
