Ossid's WPL-1500x weigh/ price/labeler uses a digital load cell and accommodates a full product range, including whole birds. The system is available with a variety of printing options including bottom-label applicators. The side-guide system maintains control of product as it moves through the weigh and labeling stations. The unit has a 15-lb. weighing capacity standard, and is capable of printing up to 16 in./sec. and 150 packages/min. At the weigh station, data is captured and managed using a PC with Pentium technology, as well as a wired and wireless ethernet.
