IPACK-IMAIPACK-IMA is one of the most important international events in the field of packaging technologies, processing and internal logistics: a large system exhibition presenting technological solutions for the food industry and food to people from all over the world.

Here technology vendors and user companies meet to do business, share knowledge and promote innovation, creating a large professional community. To promote dialogue among the members of this community IPACK-IMA has launched a new valuable communication tool, the Business Community (see "Join the Business Community" on the home page of this site) that relates demand and supply of technology solutions based on practical applications and enables exhibitors and visitors to maximize participation in the exhibition.

IPACK-IMA 2012 is the place where the community is that it mobilizes and engages, during a international conference on the theme of technology to guarantee the sustainability and food security . This event is located in ' context of a multi-year project started in 2009 with the conference "More technology, safety and quality, less hunger in the world" held under the auspices of the UN food agencies of the pole: UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) and WPF (World Food Programme). 's commitment in this direction in 2010 and continued in 2011 with "Days of IPACK-IMA" Technologies for Food Safety.
