This program is designed to recognize food and beverage plants for outstanding sustainability initiatives that became operational in calendar year 2016. The definition of sustainability here is any program or project with the aim to reduce, reuse and/or recycle in the plant. Please note: In order to submit, plants do not need to be certified by LEED, Green Globes or any other organization. All sustainable food and beverage plant projects completed in 2016 are eligible. Awards will be presented at the Food Automation & Manufacturing Conference 2017.

Submissions should include a detailed narrative describing the program/project and should address as many of these questions as possible:
If you have any materials, such as a PowerPoint presentation or any high resolution photos of the project or the plant, please submit that as well.
All entries are due Dec. 2, 2016. Food companies, A/E firms, suppliers or any other qualified entity to provide details may submit for consideration.
