In a step towards matching up with consumer preferences, Breyers announced the iconic ice cream brand will source its milk and cream only from farmers who do not treat their cows with artificial growth hormones.
According to the company, the entire Unilever ice cream portfolio—including Fruttare, Good Humor, Klondike, Magnum and Popsicle brands—will follow this lead in 2015 and transition to sourcing milk and cream from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones.
