Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., one of the world’s largest independent bottlers of Coca-Cola, said it is committed to reducing calories per liter across its entire portfolio by 10 percent by 2020.
The company announced the news in conjunction with the release of its tenth annual Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability report. In addition to reducing calories, the company committed to cutting its carbon footprint in half by 2020 and ensuring that 40 percent of the PET it uses is recycled PET and/or PET from renewable materials.
