The federal government is requesting input for the development of a National Strategic Plan for Advanced Manufacturing.

The plan is being developed by the National Science and Technology Council Subcommittee on Advanced Manufacturing. The plan aims to improve coordination and provide long-term guidance for federal programs in support of manufacturing in the United States, including advanced manufacturing research and development.
