Teton Waters Ranch will compete with the pork and poultry sausages in the frozen aisle with new grass-fed beef breakfast links. The company also announced it is developing frozen beef-mushroom burgers.
With the burgers, the Denver-based company says it is trying to appeal to consumers who like grass-fed beef but look for options to eat less red meat. The mushrooms reduce the calorie and fat content compared with an all-beef burger and help with sustainability because they grow in days, requiring minimal space and little water.
