Self-stacking spiral freezer

FMC FoodTech launched a line of freezers from Frigoscandia Equipment with a modular design. The M-series GYRoCOMPACT® self-stacking spiral freezer features fewer parts and has less surface for bacteria to cling, making cleaning easier. Frigoscandia freezers feature a CIP system that uses fresh water throughout the cleaning process. Compared with traditional CIP systems that use recycled water, fresh water significantly reduces health risks, uses one-third the amount of water and cuts the cost of chemicals in half, according to FMC FoodTech.
