High-shear colloid mills have the capability to produce fine particle and droplet size in dispersions and emulsions of varying viscosities. Through adjustments to the size of the rotor/stator gap and to the rotor speed, the energy exerted on the product being processed can be controlled to produce the required particle/droplet size and size distribution.
