Centrifugal pumps for sanitation

Alfa Laval says its Solid C pumps improve the technology of its C series, offering an improved seal, lower NPSHr and better performance. Intended for use in non-critical applications, the pumps feature inlet pressure of 50 psi, capacity of 400 gpm, 400-ft. head and temperature up to 250˚F. The shaft can be removed by hand from the front of the pump without removing the backplate and the compression on the shaft is self-centering.
