FKI’s vhswEDGE is a combination of conveyors configured to facilitate high-speed induction onto a main conveyor line from picking operations. Using advanced motion-control technologies, the system spaces, builds and releases groups of cartons from up to 16 infeed lines onto a main conveyor line. UniSort MXT software optimizes the lane-releasing prioritization schemes to control product flow, reduce gaps and create a steady stream of product inducted into the sorter.
