Soft placement module

Compatible with several case packer models, Standard-Knapp’s soft placement module offers secure packing of bottles of all sizes. The servo system accelerates bottles downward, then comes to a gradual, decelerated stop as the heels of bottles reach the bottom of the case. The packed case is then indexed to the discharge conveyor, and the module ascends into position for the next cycle. Capable of handling several cases per cycle, it eliminates bottle-to-bottle scuffing and breaking, with or without partitions.
