The Terlotherm scraped surface heat exchanger has been incorporated into a turnkey pasteurization system for vegetable purées. The unit ensures high-heat exchanging capacity bringing the product from ambient temperature up to 195°F into a variable time holding tube and then cooled back down to 40°F at a continuous production rate of 2,500 lbs. per hour.
