Agitation retorts

Allpax Shaka 1600 single-basket, high-speed agitation retorts have a 1 ton capacity. Used with products such as pasta dishes, soups with particulates and sauces, the retorts assist in producing shelf-stable food packaged in cans, glass, semi-rigid and flexible containers; in the retorts, packaging is loaded in a horizontal orientation so all containers experience the same profile. The units are compatible with existing batch lines relative to footprint, utilities and operating procedures.
