Siemens Generation II Simotics 1FK7 servomotors feature 7 shaft heights, a quick-connect power connector and 20- and 24-bit field-replaceable encoders in 10 styles. The motors operate without external cooling; the heat is dissipated through the motor surface. They provide 3x overload, a 2.5% torque ripple, cross-profiling, an interface for field commissioning, plain shaft or keyway design and 3 IP ratings.
