Ready to use, Cortec VpCI-329 D ES oil-based rust preventative can be applied from a handheld spray bottle. Used to protect gears, spindles, coils and other parts that require a light coat of oil, it contains oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors that create a film that attaches electrochemically to ferrous and nonferrous metal surfaces. The product is thermally stable and does not contain any hazardous chromates, nitrites or phosphate inhibitors.
