Brady Welu is a senior managing engineer at Tyson Fresh Meats, the beef, pork, and case ready subsidiary of Tyson Foods. In this role, Brady is responsible for managing capital improvement projects across all of Tyson Fresh Meats’ facilities. His most recent project was the award-winning Eagle Mountain, Utah Case Ready Facility. This greenfield project featured many process improvement and automation innovations, elevating Tyson Food’s ability to grow with the market for the portioned proteins business. Brady grew up on a farm near Milroy, Minnesota and earned a bachelor’s in biological and agricultural engineering from South Dakota State University.
