Kantha Shelke, Ph.D., CFS, is principal at Corvus Blue LLC, a food science and research firm that expedites development and commercialization of honestly healthful products and technologies and a senior lecturer at Johns Hopkins University’s Master of Science in Food Safety Regulation.
Kantha held senior positions at ACNielsen, Ben & Jerry's, Continental Baking and Grand Metropolitan and is retained by startups and established entities at the intersection of science and business to maximize opportunity and minimize risk. She is a senior lecturer in Johns Hopkins’s Food Safety Regulation Master of Science Program and a visiting professor at the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, at Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in Austria. She is a contributing editor for Prepared Foods magazine, Food Safety & Quality magazine, and PLMALive! video magazine. When not teaching or working with clients, she travels around the world helping entrepreneurs advance the understanding of food and nutrition, food safety, and regulations.
