Renee Perry
Vice President of CSR & ESG
Culinary Collaborations LLC

Renee Perry is the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) at Culinary Collaborations LLC (CCL) & Culimer USA. Renee is a self proclaimed social justice advocate, who is passionate about everything from food safety and sustainability to corporate social responsibility, with the goal of making the world a better place for the industry at large. Renee is a lifelong foodie and came to CSR & ESG via a circuitous route through accounting, sales, marketing, and operations in industries from hospitality to government enterprise. Renee joined CCL in 2018 to bring the company to GFSI certificated status. During her time as Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance, she took CCL on the path to successfully achieving BRCGS A&B v3 certification. CCL/Culimer USA achieved an AA rating with zero non-conformances in three consecutive audits (2020, 2021,2022). Going beyond audits, Renee has transformed CCL/Culimer to an engaged food safety and quality culture. Her success in the Food Safety & Quality industry did not go unnoticed and in 2021 she was awarded BRCGS Professional of the Year. Today, she remains responsible for the QS & FS team, but now also leads traceability, sustainability and responsible sourcing efforts. As a result of Renee’s efforts, CCL is considered a market leader in seafood traceability and was the first company in the world to make a time bound commitment to the Global Dialogue Seafood Traceability (GDST) 1.0 standards. The GDST is an international business-to-business seafood platform established to advance a unified framework for interoperable seafood traceability practices. A member of the GDST workgroup, using GS1 standards as a basis for electronic traceability for accurately identifying, capturing and automatically sharing vital information about our seafood products, locations, expiration and more, she is actively involved in improving seafood traceability standards for the industry at large. Renee is co-chair of the GS1 FSMA 204 Work Group and is a speaker at GS1 supply chain visibility & traceability panel talks. Renee ensures CCL is current and has the latest technology and software systems. With a keen understanding of the importance of data at every step of the supply chain, she is working towards integrating traceability into all levels of the supply chain by using reliable data that is available from the fishing vessel, production sites, captain's statement to unloading docs. The goal of traceability is to ensure adherence to set standards, to ensure authenticity, verify sustainability, and assure legality of all seafood products. Renee’s latest adventure is a labor of love combing all of her passions into one direction that is bringing CCL/Culimer to being a fully certificated B Corp. Certification, she says, confirms that we are genuinely on a people and planet first before profit path, and to join the thousands of companies that use their business as a force for good.
