Scott has spent his entire life in poultry. He grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and began raising chickens at age 7. By 16, he was hauling chickens into Canada and helping manage his family’s poultry business. At age 24, Scott purchased Farmer’s Pride Inc., a chicken processing facility in Fredericksburg, PA, and two years later bought the Bell & Evans brand from the retiring Bell family. Scott merged the businesses together and began transforming the way chicken is produced in America.
