FSIS releases 2014 Annual Performance Plan
The plan describes how FSIS will carry out its work of decreasing the risk of and preventing foodborne illness.

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) released its Annual Performance Plan for 2014, outlining its goals for the upcoming year. This year's primary focus is reducing consumer exposure to Salmonella, incidences of which have increased in recent years.
