This new 100-gallon reaction vessel is perfect for the production of specialty products or for the development of new products in a pilot plant setting. The new Reactor is constructed entirely of type 316 stainless steel and all surfaces are polished. This model is designed for operation under vacuum and pressure. The mixing vessel is mounted on wheels to permit easy cleaning and movement to a discharge point after the mix cycle is complete. Numerous charge and sight ports are provided in the cover. The agitator combination is unique as it is a special wisk design and is driven by a variable frequency drive to provide for variable speed operation, allowing a user to mix a wide range of products and to mix small volumes in the same mixer. The hydraulic lifting design permits the rotation of the mixing head a full 90 degrees from the mix position.Charles Ross and Son Co., P.O. Box 12308, Hauppauge, NY 11788. Tel.
