Two special mix/reaction vessels constructed of Hastelloy C and type 316 stainless steel by Charles Ross & Son include features such as variable speed agitators, ASME code construction for full vacuum and 50 psig internal pressure, thermocouples for temperature read outs and a 150 psi jacket on the vessel to permit heating or cooling during processing. Similar systems are available with capacities of several thousand gallons.
